Toby began writing music in 2009 aged 11 and very quickly perfected a unique and signature brand of songwriting. Now 19, he fronts alternative rock quartet Conflare and plays lead guitar for The Fiasco. Having done previous session work for former X Factor contestants and been part of show bands, Toby also teaches in a secondary school, focusing heavily on guitar and bass.
Hanmore's songwriting draws influence from Alternative Rock bands such as the Foo Fighters and Biffy Clyro, but his earliest musical influences range from Bryan Adams to Atomic Kitten and early 00s pop music - something he believes to have enriched his knowledge of hooks and melodies, two particularly strong aspects of his writing.
He currently studies composition and popular music at Leeds College of Music and continues writing and performing in bands.
