Lorenzo Polidori was born on 8th of March 1997 in Florence. Since he was a child, he was interested in the music world.
When he was 8, he started studying classical techniques for guitar: this passion brought him to be interested also in other musical genres and to approach, as a self-made man, Mark Knopfler's techniques.
Starting at the age of 14, he studied acoustic guitar at Lizard academy in Fiesole. Since then, he has been studying the techniques inspired by artists such as Tommy Emmanuel, Gareth Pearson, Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed.
In 2014 he met the well known Welsh guitarist Gareth Pearson, he became his friends and he has been refiring with him.
In 2016 he was called by Gareth Pearson to play with him during his concert. Lately he opened Andrea Valeri's, Micheal Manring's, Finax's and the trio (Steph Burns, Will Hunt, Claudio Golinelli) concerts and he played during two of Clive Carroll's concerts. Moreover he was given an award by the Lizard Academy for the best Italian student of the month.
In 2017 he won the Fingerstyle competition " Acoustic Guitar Meeting" and has also participated at the prestigious Turin Festival called "Reset Festival 2017".
Now he is playing and composing to record his first album.
