Though he comes from a small town in Central Michigan, Matt Moore's sound is anything but small, and neither is his list of accomplishments. Launching a solo career in 2007 with only an acoustic guitar and a few original songs Matt quickly built a reputation as the must see artist in his area. Captivating audiences with his engaging songwriting, passionate live performance and tenacious work ethic, Matt has performed at over 1200 events around the country in the past several years, sharing the stage with artists such as Thousand Foot Krutch, Sanctus Real, Leeland, Nine Lashes, StellarKart, John Reuben, The Afters, Grits, Remedy Drive, Caedmon's Call, Newworldson and many more.
Matt is an artist who loves to play live and it shows, averaging between 150-200 dates a year all over the United States. The venues range from small intimate coffee shops and house parties, to large music festivals and everything in between. Performing with his long time percussionist Josh THO they create a fun and unique high-energy acoustic show unlike most typical singer/songwriter acts. Matt also fronts a full five-piece rock band, recreating the hard rock sound heard on his previous albums. The band has gained recognition for their tireless energy, quality musicianship and unique lineup (there are not many rock bands we know of that feature a full time djembe player). The performances are truly something you need to experience to fully appreciate.
Matt has released two EPs since 2009 (produced by Jake Rye of Sanctus Real), with another “digital only” remix album in the summer of 2013. To date he has sold over 12,000 physical CDs, and another 12,000 digital downloads. Matt has released multiple national radio singles including the hit song “Fading” in 2012, heard on over 150 radio stations around the country. He is currently writing new material for an upcoming album, due sometime in 2015.
